How it works
Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is sent to us unless you decide to create an Onigiri account.
Add your details
Upload your logo, then fill in your business name, address and contact info, plus your client’s billing details.
Set the number and dates
Give the invoice a unique number, set the issue date and pick a due date. Net 15 or Net 30 are common in the US.
List your work
Add each service or product with quantity and rate. Add sales tax or a discount if needed — totals update as you type.
Download or send
Download a print-ready PDF, or send the invoice as a link with Onigiri so your client can pay by card.
Invoice checklist
A complete invoice gets paid faster and keeps your records clean at tax time. Make sure yours has these seven things — the generator above covers all of them.
- Your business details. Name, address, email and phone. Add your EIN if clients need it for their records.
- Client details. The person or company you’re billing, with their billing address.
- Number and dates. A unique invoice number in sequence (0001, 0002…), the issue date and the due date: Net 15, Net 30 or due on receipt.
- Itemized line items. Each service or product with quantity, rate and amount.
- Subtotal, tax and discounts. Show sales tax and any discount separately from the total due.
- Payment details. How clients can pay: bank transfer, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal or card.
- Notes and terms. Your late fee policy, deposit terms or a short thank-you note.
Free vs. Onigiri
The generator is free forever. When you want clients to pay faster, send the same invoice as a link with Onigiri and let them pay by card.
